Auckland's Great Barrier Island holds first demolition derby

With its remoteness, Auckland's Great Barrier Island has gained a somewhat inglorious reputation over what constitutes a road-worthy car.
So, in a charity fundraiser, two new business owners hit on an idea, an organised crash-fest to do the job of a scrap metal dealer.
The result? A beautiful "only on the Barrier" type of occasion.
