Brush fire burns 1 acre on Molokai | News, Sports, Jobs

A brush fire burned about 1 acre along Maunaloa Highway near Kaluakoi Road on Molokai on Sunday evening, according to the Maui Fire Department.
Engine companies from Kaunakakai and Hoolehua as well as a tanker responded to the fire, which was reported at 4:25 p.m. amid 15 to 20 mph trade winds.
The fire was 100 percent contained at 5:37 p.m.
