Chick-fil-A homophobic bigotry unwelcome here | News, Sports, Jobs

It appears that Chick-fil-A (The Maui News, Jan. 16) intends to bring its homophobic/transphobic presence to our island. Isn’t it enough that we are targeted by the caustic bigotry of Westboro (God Hates Fags) Baptist Church?
Chick-fil-A proudly donates large sums to anti-LGBT hate groups. This is not Maui’s aloha. In my opinion, we should not be contributing to their hatred of God’s beloved children.
If the county and state are unable to prevent their presence, I urge all on Maui to boycott Chick-fil-A.
