Deputies Searching Fernley For Bank Robbery Suspect |

Lyon County Sheriff's Office says deputies are searching for a suspect who fled after a reported bank robbery at the Nevada State Bank in Fernley. 

Officials say the robbery happened around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Nevada State Bank on Highway 95A. 

Nobody was injured during the incident.

Deputies are now searching the area for the suspect, who was described as a male adult in his 20's with a dark complexion. The suspect was reportedly wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and a beanie hat.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office says an undisclosed amount of money was taken after the suspect presented a note demanding money.

The FBI has taken over the investigation.
