Dr. Chappell, a beacon of wisdom and an exemplary educator, has left an indelible mark on our hearts and the Frontier community. Her commitment to fostering a culture of caring, not only within the faculty but also for the students she passionately advocated for, set her apart as a true leader and friend.
Dr. Chappell’s legacy will endure through the continued embodiment of the values she championed. In this time of mourning, we reflect on the tremendous loss we have suffered, remembering a remarkable individual whose influence reached far beyond the confines of the academic realm. The memorial services to celebrate Dr. Chappell’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 28, at Pepperell Baptist Church in Opelika, Alabama. The visitation will commence at 10:00 AM (CT), followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM (CT). A lunch will be provided afterward, offering an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and support.
