Michael McCARRON Obituary, Death – It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Michael (Mickey) McCarron on the 21st of December 2023. Mickey, a former Breadman, late of Alexander House and formerly of Howard Street, departed this world peacefully at his daughter Ciera’s home, 101 Kylemore Park. He was a beloved husband, father, granda, father-in-law, and brother, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born to the late Patrick and Margaret McCarron, Mickey was a devoted family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, and their daughter, Ciera. Mickey was a devoted granda to Emma, Orla, Molly, and Katie. He was also a dear father-in-law to Keith.

Mickey’s love and warmth extended beyond his immediate family, as he cherished his siblings Patsy, Majella, Kathleen, and the late Pauline, Jeanie (Twin), Jimmy, Roseleen, and Gerard. Mickey’s home, 101 Kylemore Park, will serve as a place of remembrance, with friends and family invited to pay their respects on Thursday, 21st December, from 6:00 p.m. The funeral procession will leave 101 Kylemore Park on Saturday, 23rd December, at 9:20 a.m., proceeding to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower, for a Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. Following the Mass, interment will take place in The City Cemetery.

As we bid farewell to Mickey, we find comfort in the knowledge that he now rests in peace, surrounded by the love and prayers of family and friends. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul, and may Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for him. Mickey will be deeply missed by the entire family circle, but his memory will forever live on in our hearts.
