Jasmyn Lambert Obituary, Cobb County School Teacher Has Died
Jasmyn Lambert Obituary, Death – An elementary teacher’s life was taken on Saturday, leaving the Cobb County community in shock. Jasmyn Lambert worked at Still Elementary School teaching third grade. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office claims that the teacher’s estranged husband shot and killed her on Saturday after breaking into her Dallas house twice on Topaz Drive.
Following her passing, a district spokesman issued the following statement: We share the news of one of our third grade teachers’ passing with deep grief. Everyone was welcomed by Jasmyn Lambert’s wide smile, and her classroom looked forward to seeing her each day. Her family, friends, and the entire Still community, who are already missing her, have our deepest sympathies. This week, there are grief counselors on site to assist both kids and staff. We kindly request that you respect the privacy of our school family during this difficult time.
According to the sheriff’s office, the domestic conflict and home invasion were reported to 911 by a guest who was staying at the house. Tyron Lambert, 42, the estranged husband, allegedly forced his way inside the house through the back door, threatening everyone inside with a gun, according to deputies.
The 42-year-old male fled before the police could arrive after learning they had been contacted. The man’s car was then marked with a “Be On the Lookout” notice by Paulding deputies. Deputies were dispatched to the teacher’s house after a second complaint about the 42-year-old allegedly breaking into the house a second time. Tyron Lambert apparently fired the fatal shot, killing his estranged wife, before they could even enter the house.
